To all TKA members, here are the minutes for our meeting held on August 2, 2007.
 
 
In Attendance:  Sifu Yvonne Abeyta, Sigung Marty Aragon, Sigung Gerald Chavez, Sifu Mike Gallegos, Sifu Pete Montoya, Sifu Lucas Nihlen, Sigung Lawrence Tachias and Sifu David Theis.
 
 
 
 
 
AKA News: Sigung Gerald Chavez
1) AKA Manual is still work in progress.
2) AKA Meeting / Seminar, Training Session will be in Texas, October 2007. Sigung Gerald will get more information on the days, times and location.
3) Allii Don Nahoolewa is doing well.
4) Sijo Emperado is still very sick.
 
 
TKA News: Sifu Pete Montoya
1) TKA new T- Shirt design, Sifu Mike Gallegos passed around a print that he got from Sifu Don Slack. Everyone liked it and was voted to go with that design. Sigung Lawrence Tachias suggested that we just put the Thunderbird in the front and the whole design on the back. we all agreed. Sifu Mike Gallegos suggested that we go back to the original color of Turquoise blue. It was voted on  and everyone agreed. Sifu Mike G. will check on the cost with Sifu Don.
2) The sale of the Sword that Sigung Mike Blea donated to TKA.  It  was agreed to sell it to Sifu Lucas Nihlen for $200. SOLD!
3) TKA Seminar, Sifu Robert Martinez( not in attendance). Sifu David had checked with Professor Jon Loren on when he could do a Seminar, Professor Loren said he could only do it in January between Jan. 15th thru 20th. So we are going to try to set it up for January 18,19, and 20th, 2008. That is a Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
4) TKA web site, Sifu David for us to check under life dance studio.info. Check it out.
5) Sigung Marty Aragon brought CD's of of Judo demo  for those that paid the $12. That was Pete, Lawrence, Yvonne, Lucas and Mike G.
6) Sifu David Theis will send out a list of phone numbers via e-mail.

1) Collect Dues, $50 collected
2) TKA account balance July $917 + $50 = $967
