Here are the minutes from our meeting held on  August 7, 2008.
 
 
In Attendance: Sifu Yvonne Abeyta, Sigung Marty Aragon, Sigung Gerald Chavez, Sigung Mike Gallegos, Sifu Don Slack, Sigung Lawrence Tachias and Sifu David Theis.
 
 
AKA News: Sigung Gerald Chavez
1) AKA next meeting will be held on October 17 &18, 2008. In Plano, TX at  Mr. Parks place.
2) The KOA Meeting / Seminar in Las Vegas, NV. on July 17,18 &19 went OK. Their were something like 22 Grand Masters in attendance.
3) Sigung Gerald  will be going to the services for GM Jon Loren on Friday. He will let us know how it goes with Tum Pai in the future when he gets back.TKA gave Sigung Gerald $200 to help with his trip.
 
 
TKA News: Sifu Don Slack
1) TKA mini Seminar dates have been changed due to the short time frame to get out the information. Sifu David made up some Great flyer, he will just need to adjust the dates. Looks like Sifu David will do the first Seminar ( Tai Chi Sword form) on September 6, 2008. We are going to try to get a place in Corrales by the river. Sigung Marty will do the other Seminar ( Escrima) sometime in November 2008.
2) We will look at another in 2009 sometime, Who and When TBD later.
 
TKA Financial Report: Sigung Marty Aragon / Sigung Mike Gallegos
1) Collect Dues, $40 collected
2) TKA balance from July $999
3) TKA balance for August $839
 $999 +$40 (dues)= $1,039 - $200 (Gerald's trip) = $839
